Weddings in the air xx

I wanted to share with you a story today regarding a very special wedding dress, I was contacted by a lovely customer Ann who wanted me to repurpose her wedding dress into a wedding fairy doll for a wonderful memory and 2 Christmas fairies. I asked if she would be able to send it down to me as I need to see the fabric to check if it would work( no one ever wants to cut into their wedding dress ) so it was not long before a beautiful box arrived with dress and embellishments, a butterfly from a shoe, a veil and lots of satin and lace. I always open it and I leave it for a day or two while I work out which parts I can use, I also had a photo of Ann on her special day xx

A note from Ann

Once the baby is born (still waiting), I will gift her the gold angel wedding dress doll I originally had you make for myself. That way, both grandchildren will have a similar heritage doll to keep.
Thanks again, I'm soooo happy with these dolls xx

Wonderful idea , after all who wears their wedding dress again, although I’ve never been married so sadly never had one . The dolls that you have made from it are so charming . Lucky girls and talented Chris . I look forward to seeing you others next week best wishes to all.

What a touching story and something her grandchildren will have that can be handed down. Thank you, Ann, for thinking of this, and Chris for sharing the photos and being able to use the dress along with items from Ann's special day.
