Do you bake a Simmel cake for Easter ?

I never have, might try this year xx

Our village church has one of the oldest bells in Sussex dating around the 13th century (a real treat to hear on Sunday's )and still sounds wonderful. The new collections will be coming on the 12th April, and there will be patterned trousers, dresses, cardigans, hats of course and all very delicate plus our wonderful celebrations fairy dolls xx
My garden is starting to fill with green and hope of wonderful things to come, I love this time.  On the Embroidery magazine cover is a humble Sliverfish looking wonderful with mixed textiles, what amazing work xx

Birds and berries, fairies  xx

Fairies and creatures xx

Hi Chris I live down the road from you in Storrington. I have four of your beautiful dolls. Love your new ones but they have always found new homes by the time I get your email.
Have a wonderful Easter x

I have made a Simnel cake many years ago! Send a picture if you do. I once made hot x buns but they were like cannon balls.
What an interesting garden you have. My magnolia is in full flower.
Some colourful fabrics. Looking forward to 12 April. Happy Easter. Sx
