A mixed week from garden to sewing

and this beautiful plant from Shirley's garden xxx (pasqueflower/lenton lily)

So down at Twig studio I have had all of my lovely fabric out to see what I could find. I found a really old piece of fabric, which was a large cushion in my grandmothers house, she must have had this fabric forever and I am making an heirloom fairy doll out of it for myself, I will add a picture when she is done, I also found this tea towel my niece gave me from her first school when she was very small and I am going to make a fairy doll out of this for her to keep, another little heirloom. If any one out there has one of these tea towels they would like to convert, I am happy to make a fairy doll with the fabric for the same cost as my normal fairy dolls..  please email or give me a call chris@buttondolls.co.uk  01903 893266   I can make 4 xxx

Below is my Lily of the valley coming through next to the water feature which was an old washing machine with a fountain coming out of the top  xxx

I just love your Blog! Tea towels from various places I've visited over the years would make beautiful dresses for your dolls - love that idea! Take care and have a wonderful Spring!
